MOU with Bildungs–und Demonstrationszentrum für Abwasserbehandlung e.v. (BDZ e.v.)
This MOU was signed by the National Water and Wastewater Engineering Company represented by their Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Hamid Reza Janbaz, and Bildungs – und Demonstrationszentrum für Abwasserbehandlung e.v. (BDZ e.v.) represented by the Association’s Managing Director, Mr. Gabriele Stich, and concerns the establishment of a training and demonstration center for decentralized wastewater treatment in Iran and introduction of semi-decentralized wastewater disposal systems.

BDZ is an association comprised of members from Federal Ministry of Science and Research, universities, research centers and private companies, and was shaped with the aim of developing the semi-centralized and decentralized wastewater systems in Germany. In view of the Association’s success in Germany and other European countries, the Association will now be involved in launching the BDZ-Iran with two units for construction and commissioning the demonstration sites and for human resources capacity development in technical, scientific, economical, social and environmental areas for semi-decentralized and decentralized wastewater disposal systems.
