  • Monitoring and controlling the performance of the company through reviewing and analyzing the performance indicators in the budget and communities areas.
  • Comprehensive follow_up of corporate assemblies issues
  • Monitoring the economic, financial, and overall performance of water and wastewater companies and providing analytical reports to be presented in general assembly meetings.
  • Providing unified guidelines and procedures for budgeting and preparing financial statements and operational balance of water and wastewater companies using the views and experiences of those companies and obtaining their approval in general assemblies.
  • auditing and inspection of water and wastewater companies regarding the observance of financial regulations, transactions, operations, and tariffs
  • Reviewing the reports of auditors, statutory examiners, and the board of directors of water and wastewater companies and offering expert opinions in the general meeting of shareholders.
  • Attending companies' general meetings to review and approve the company's regulatory budget
  • Tracking the corporate budgets planning and management
  • preparing and communication of the minutes of the general and extraordinary general meetings of the companies and following up their resolutions.
  • Doing the follow up on the formation of new companies
  • Providing assistance in adopting appropriate methods of determining water tariff and waste disposal practices
  • Conducting economic studies on water and wastewater and setting criteria for determining water and wastewater disposal rates and monitoring their proper fulfillment by water and wastewater companies.
  • Developing economic models of operating costs of companies
  • Determining the ways of using financial resources and reducing economic losses in order to advance the company's goals
  • Contributing to defining of the criteria for calculating the cost of water consumed, the cost of wastewater disposal, and water or wastewater connection fee.
  • Cooperation with water and wastewater companies in preparing contracts for equipping new cities and towns and industrial units
  • Supervising the establishment and operation of systems and methods of accepting inquiry on chainage, audits, calculations, and connection fees in water and wastewater companies.
  • Auditing and evaluation of subscribers' satisfaction with water and wastewater services, operating systems, and economic return on working capital
  • Conducting studies and reviews necessary for planning based on communicated policies
  • Preparing and setting goals, policies, regulations and guidelines, and forms related to the company budget
  • Collaborating with various units and collecting necessary information on budgeting and medium_term, short_term and long_term technical, economic and social development planning
  • Contributing to revenue forecasting and cost estimation of activities, plans, and programs
  • Studying the plans and budgets proposed by various units in terms of compliance with the formulated plans
  • Reviewing the proposed budget of the various units in the allocation of funds and final consolidation of the budget
  • Visiting civil operations of development projects and providing reports on progressof construction works to monitor its compliance with the goals and policies set
  • Assessment of all resources and how they are distributed between different sections given the size of the overall country budget
  • Supervision of bids and adjustment of contract prices
